super crazy sale at GAP

well i've had a crazy-ass, sad week so i decided to do some shopping today. it's called retail therapy. OMG, have ya'll gone to the GAP? everything on sale is an additional 40% off. i was in heaven. it was cheaper than walmart and target clearance.

for instance, i got a pair of baby boy khakis for $1.50. and a pair of jeans for layne for $6. i got a onesie for $2. it was crazy. GO!

(i was at the town center location, but the deal is at any GAP)

also, the bras at victoria secret are $15. i hate to spend a ton of money on underwares, but for as long as these bras last, totally worth it. oh and undies are $3. cheap, cheap, cheap.

i think these sales end tomorrow, so get to gettin'.

organic blueberries .99 cents!

**i think this was a 2 day sale...you might call before you go in.**
my friend kristin just told me that a pint of organic blueberries is 0.99 cents at pricechopper. who gets excited over such bargains...i know, redonkulous.

run, don't walk, and buy a lot of these. put them in your freezer and use for later! sidenote: i love letting lila eat frozen blueberries, as they don't juice everywhere and make a mess. also, they feel good on her gums when she's teething.

sorry to talk so much about blueberries this week. i will redeem myself in later posts. i hope.

pint of organic blueberries for $1.88!

i was just running into hen house for milk today and saw that a pint of organic bluberries is $1.88! (it is advertised as $3.99 in the ads). great deal...

also, i love that hen house sells Good Natured Family Farms(GNFF) products. i buy their milk when i'm in the area--which is $3.95 for a gallon. more expensive than target or costco's hormone free milk, but it's a lot better quality. and less expensive than paying $6 for a gallon of organic milk at whole foods.

Photobucket

they also sell GNFF eggs-$2.75 per dozen which is not bad at all. once you taste good eggs from farm raised chickens, you never go back to the sad, caged-up kind again. DEE-sgusting.

free stuff to do this summer at crown center.

we went to crown center the other day to check out the clifford exhibit. it's really cute, especially if your kids watch the show daily. what? i mean... not my kids...we're doing educational activites ALL DAY LONG. ha.

anyway, i found myself saying all the character names and pretending like i was on 'birdwell island', while my husband was looking at me with a wierd expression...like, who is emily elizabeth?

Photobucket
so this is a free exhibit to tromp around in. don't go on saturday's or clifford will eat you. not really, but you'll want him to after you see how crowded it gets on that day.

also, there is a dinosaur exhibit going on at union station(connected to crown center)...and although that costs money, there are lots of big dinosaurs around promoting the event that the kids can stare at for free. fun...or scary...if you're my son.
Photobucket
also, our favorite date night activity is coming up. free friday night flicks on the crown center lawn! this is fun...you sit on the lawn, pack a picnic, and watch a movie on a ginormous screen. take my word for it, this is worth going to. and it's a free date night. hello.

here is the schej:

July 2- "Pretty in Pink" (1986)

July 9- "Jurassic Park" (1993)

July 16- "Hairspray" (2007)

July 23- "Julie & Julia" (2009)

July 30- "Groundhog Day" (1993)

August 6- "Ocean's Eleven" (2001)

August 13- "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" (2001)

you can also have them email or text you when events are coming up... i like this, as i forget most things of any importance.

supertarget deals 7/08/10

ok, so this is where i'm posting any sweet deals i find around town. i feel ridiculous sending you all emails on "deals", which might be annoying. so instead, just come here and you can see some bargain hunting glory. here is what i found grocery shopping today at supertarget.
Photobucket

if i'm posting groceries, you know it will be organic/natural. go with it.

usually i alternate between shopping at whole foods and supertarget. i have found i can get the best deals at these two places in general and stay IN BUDGET. can i get a what what?!

no? mkay, i'll stop.

here's how you get the deals:
go to http://www.coupons.com/ and print out the coupons for the products you see for cascadian farms, muir glenn, and any other product you usually buy.

there are coupons ON kashi cereal boxes for $1 off kashi cookies, bars, crackers. you'll want to snag those. no, it's not illegal at all.

there are coupons on shout bottles for $.50 off. make sure you present that at the register. i had another shout coupon for $1 off that i found ON the huggies diapers i was buying. (there is a $3 off coupon for huggies at coupons.com as well).

there is $1 off coupon ON the cheerio boxes. the cereal was already a low price of $2.54. if you are going to buy 2 boxes, snag 2 $1 off coupons off the boxes and you can go to supertarget.com and grab this $. 75 off coupon as well. you will be basically paying a buck a box. BOOYA.

the individual serve organic raisins are always $1.62. cheap!

ghiradelli choco chips are always $2.54. haven't seen them anywhere else that cheap. and these are the best.

target offers hormone free cheese, milk, cream cheese, and butter for super cheap. look for the little cow symbol on the package... that means rbst free. and who wants to have thier period at age 8 anyway? not my little girl.

now get to shopping, my bargain hunting friends.
