ok so i went to whole foods yesterday and bought a few things. and by few i mean, i bought 50 grocery items, including 3lbs of ground beef and lots of fruits and veggies. i spent $113. i had $13 in coupons from the flyers in the front of the store. use your coupons! if you are committed to finding deals, you can totally go organic... i spent just a touch over $2 per item.
 my favorite sales were:

5lb organic bag potatoes: $2.50
3lb bag organic onions: $2.50
organic green or red leaf lettuce is always $1.99
organic deboles noodles(all sorts) are $2, but there is a coupon in the front for $3 off when you buy 3. so i got my lasagna and spaghetti noodles 3 for $3!
organic bagged cereal is 2 for $5
whole foods brand organic broth is always $1.99
organic frozen waffles(van) are 2 for $6, but there is a $1.50 off/2 coupon in the flyer...so 2 for $4.50

also, on the day after christmas, whole foods is having a HUGE one day sale on ground beef. $1.99/lb. if you buy 3lbs at a time, that's $1.50/LB. you definitely need to get yourself there on that day!


and also, gaggle of chicks is running a deal on all natural skin/bath products. $25 for $50 worth of stuff at mom's skincare. pretty awesome stuff!

Boy Scout Troop 282 (Leawood, Kansas)

We still have approximately 90 tree's left and the tree lot has been shutdown.  If someone would like one of these tree's they can pick one out at load it themselves.  The lot is located at the Leawood United Methodist Church on 95th street between Lee and Mission.  We are asking for a $20 donation for each tree.  Make checks payable to "Troop 282" and mail to: Troop 282 2007 West 86th street Leawood, KS 66206   Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
